I would suggest that no one buys an mercedes diesel in
sprinter body. No one wants to service them. I live in El
Paso, a city of one million and there is no warranty service
for 300 miles.

This is really bad....I can easily see what you're saying... they need to fix the network of dealerships across the USA.......we took our Sprinter across country and had an issue with an emissions system failure... fortunately, we were close to a dealer who was able to assist...I have to say that it's a serious problem. We've had three occasions where we had an issue..and just got lucky......it does color my opinion about the reliability...... but, when it's running great.... it's wonderful..... mixed emotions on the Sprinter....
Suggest you go see Doggett Freightliner on N. Horizon Blvd. in El Paso. Freighliner service centers work on Mercedes-Benz engine systems. "Freightliner Trucks is a Daimler Trucks North America brand with production locations in the United States and Mexico."
