I have a 99 Ford Ranger what years of Ranger can I
swap the engine out of I have found a 97 Ranger in
my price range with a good 4.0 engine it will it fit in
my 99

If they are both SOHC there is a good chance it will work. You may have to swap out accessories and the intake so compare them and see.
