Probably not,you just need a good one, high cranking amp,for the danali. The one you have is bad if it can,t hold the interior light,s for that long.

Had it tested... Said was good... Only have 31,000 on vehicle. So I guess I'll get a new battery. Any suggestions?? Should I put two battery's on for extra protection. Wife drives everyday. Just want her stranded with kids. Thank you for quick response.

No one has said anything about checking the alternator...

If you get a good 750 cranking amp battery you will be ok with one.

A battery that doesn't hold a chaarge for more than 5 or 10 min is most likely bad. However, there may be something that caused it to go bad like the alternator not charging it or a short in something. Test the battery, it should not only have 13.5 static volts, it should also hold above 9 volts with a 250 - 300 amp load on it. If it doesn't replace the battery. You should then check for any voltage drain on the battery when the vehicle is off. Then check the alternator output and starter draw. Hopefully its just a faulty baterry.
