how do you gain access to the underneath of the pull out lower drawer super console. How can I remove the drawer?

Apparently not. I ran into the same problem (in this case a tablet computer slipped over that convenient gap at the back of the drawer - who designed this thing??) , and I can't find anything that doesn't look like it involves removing the seats, to remove the side panels to lift it out, to retrieve my lost object. It seems like there should be some kind of drawer release on the bottom of the drawer. I mean, file cabinets and computer server rooms have release catches for situations like this.

I dug around more an apparently there are four bolts and two clips to remove the entire floor console just to retrieve things from the black hole. Push the seats all the way forward to get to the rear bolts, all the way back to get to the front bolts. SOLUTION = there is a hidden flap door on the front end of the console (in the area where there is a cubby with flexible mesh around it). Like a gas cover, lift up at the point where the flap has a small lip in it. Easy access after that. I have taken the console off before to retrieve a credit card that slipped in. This is a different area of the console and only involves the drawer. Wish I could say I was smart enough to figure this out but, in reality, pushing on the drawer forced the dvd case trapped inside to push forward and pop the flap.

Any way to get my debit card out? It slid down in there I removed the cover from the cubby space but no luck???

There are two clips on the back of the top piece of the console on the sides - you can access these by pulling the second row cupholders out. It will lift the whole top of the console up and your cards that fell should be under there. Took me about 15 minutes of messing around before I figured it out.

I literally just had this happen to me!!! As i am stuck in a paid parking area of the hospital with no cash!! My debit card slipped down... its super super easy!! Open up the back cup holder on the floor ... open that drawer right up and grab ahold of the center under neath you will feel it is kinda loose and has some give.... just give it a good pull the entire thing will pop right off!! Its crazy how easy it is!!!

If you lift the rubber liner in the front of the console, there's a hole that allows access to the space behind the lower drawer.

There is a YouTube video on removal and it really works!

I had trouble lifting the flap on the front end of the console until I found a small slot on either side about 1/2 way up. Put a flat blade screwdriver in the slot and with a small twist the door popped open.

Thank you GuruXCB7Z. Lost my license somewhere in rental mini van today. Saw your description and tried it. Fished around blindly through small space under louvered cubby and felt a card. Took it out and it was someone else’s license. Went back in blindly and felt another card which was my license. I just mailed out the other persons listener to him with a note explaining how and where I found hs license. Thank you so much!

I just lifted up the rubber mat by the two cigarette lighter outlets. There was a hole and I could remove the item that was keeping the sliding door from closing. 2018 Dodge Caravan.

My Dad had his debit card slide behind the forward sliding console door. We were able to retrieve it by removing the two plastic fasteners on the passenger's side console fairing. A Phillips screwdriver will back the plastic screws out and a common screwdriver will pry out the fasteners. It required both of us since one person has to hold back the fairing while the other removes the card. Be careful to not pull the fairing back too far. We couldn't get the card out while it was laying horizontally in the console. However, we pushed it to the rear and allowed the card to fall to the bottom of the console. Once there, we used a small pair of needle nose pliers to grab the card and pull it out.

My mom set her debit card in a dodge 2020 mini van today and lucky this helped us get the debit card out of the console

On the 2019 the console top pulls off from the back at the seam. It popped off with my fingers. Lift up then slide the console back, you may need to assist the front clips to remove by lifting the back up higher.

lost a key , have opened up everything I can,.... cannot see the key, pulled both side of console off, still can't see the key, it apparently fell down in a forward area....

On a 2017 Caravan, there are 3 pieces to the center console that will come off or open up for different areas of access. in addition to all the rubber inserts just lifting up and out, (some have little locking tabs - be careful and just pry them gently) They WILL come out! If you need addess to the "under the drawer". the panel under the drawer just pulls off. Its really on there so you need STRENGTH to pull it off. Same in the front in the "cubby". This one doesnt come out all the way, but toward the bottom on the sides there is a clip on each side holding it in. Again, pull toward front of car. The top stays in place and the whole panel looks like a trap door when opened. The 3rd panel is the top of the console. About an inch and a half all the way around is a seam. That seam is weakest at its 2 rear corners. Put wide flat screwdriver, flat blade dull kitchen knife, or a molding pry tool in and up in the seam in one of the rear corners. LIFT gently while pushing your lifting tool deeper. Do same on other corner and then use fingers work way around. You will hear some strange noises, but its not breaking. The locking pins are just sliding out of their holding mechanism. Last note - the rubber liner in the front compartment (spare tire cranking area) lifts out and there is a hole about 2 and 1/2 inches in the biottom. This hole is big enough for most children to put their hand through to reach a "lost" item. Wayne

The easiest way as in youtube videos is to sit in the seat behind the driver (or on your knees or even standing). Place your fingers at the back of the console nearest the rear of the car. With your fingers UNDER the groove pull upwards until the clips are freed from the bottom second (there are two parts to the ground console (top and bottom). Slide backwards till the front of the console clears the dash. That's it. To put back, reverse the process: slide top unit that was removed back into the dash, press down on the top console and it snaps the clips back into place.

Of Course, in my description. Pull out the rear passenger draw which is at the back of the console firstly.
