I would rate it as Fair to Good, but not Very Good to Great. If it has a CVT transmission in it I would avoid it like the plague.

The CVT transmission should be avoided! Like Bob says these things are a disease.
Nissan's in general are reliable. But Reliability depends on how the vehicle is taken care of and how and where the vehicle is driven. If you take care of your vehicle and do all the scheduled services and you take good care of your vehicle it will be reliable. Most cars are built much better than they used to be so they will all be nice when they are new.
purchasing a 2014 Murano platinum low miles. are they reliable and what is a CVT transmission.
CVT transmission = continuously variable transmission is the latest design in transmissions designed to keep engine at efficient operating rpm. There have been MANY problems with Nissan's CVT. Do a google search for CVT problems.
Agreed about Nissan transmission. Had a 2006 Pathfinder. Took great care of it. Had regular maintenance at the dealership and out of nowhere the radiator, coolant and transmission failed while driving and it would not accelerate,causing internal problems worth $8600. Not covered in warranty. This is a very common design flaw with Nissan. Never again will I own one.
I have to get my suv hot be4 i take off if i dont it will not go.like if i put it in drive it will not go when i mash on the gas so why is it doing this .will it be like low on transmission fluid or what never seen nothing like this be4.
