You can try. Can't advise you on the whole import/export thing though.

I doubt you can but other car sales sites may not be as restrictive as CG's.

Am I speaking with a cargurus rep? If so, I repeat that I am asking for specific, exacting details to be clear, of how to list a car for sale in the US when the vehicle and I are resident in Canada. I wish to know, step by step, how to proceed. Vague answers do not assist in my goal. Can we try again please. Exact, precise instruction. Thank you.
This is a public area. If you want to contact someone at Cargurus use the Contact Us link found at the bottom of the webpage. But I do know that you CAN NOT place a vehicle ad as a private sale on the Cargurus website if you resident in Canada, as there are no step by step instructions. Like FOR mentioned you can use other sites like cars.com or auto trader.com if you want. HTH's
