why is my ignition sticking?

my ignition is sticking, it keeps cracking over

Do you mean your key doesn't turn or you can't remove it? Cranks and not staring is a spark or fuel issue.

@TDolby No, when you turn it on to start it the key stays in the starting postition and will crack but it wont release unless you pull it back by hand.
