Temperature gauge

My car temperature gauge goes up when I stop
then the heat starts to get cold but as soon as I Hit
the gas it goes back to normal and the heat starts
back blowing hot... Please help

Change your thermostat. Sounds like its hung open. I would also flush the system good !
