Brake lights

Asked by John E. Jul 09, 2016 at 02:05 PM about the 1994 Chevrolet C/K 2500 Silverado Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Left side and center brake lights work. The right side does not.  With a trailer
connected to the truck, let side brake light works, right side does not.  I have
replaced the circuit boards in the tail lights and and bulbs.  Tried swapping
circuit boards and still no right side brake light.  What all do I need to replace
to fix this problem?????    I'm not all that good with electrical testers.  Just
please tell me what the part is and where it's located and I'll try that.   The
other problem is the headlights.  The dimmer switch is broke and headlights
are stuck on high beam when applied.   I have a new multifunction switch to
install. Hoping that will fix the problem there.   Thanks y'all. Have a good day.

Start by changing the multifunction switch. Then chase the right brake light issue IF, its still there..
