Asked by Glenn May 30, 2019 at 05:01 PM about the 1986 Chrysler Fifth Avenue Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 86 Chrysler fifth Ave,my problem
started right after I replaced the front brake
pads. I'm not getting no pressure when I try
to bleed the system. I changed the rear
brake lines, wheel cylinders both sides and
rear pads. New master cylinder,brake
booster and proportion valve, still no brake
pressure at all need help. the only thing I
didn't change was the front calipers an
rubber hoses.

Did u bench-bleed the new master before installing? This problem can only be caused by 2 things: air in the system (likely in the master cylinder if not properly bled 1st) or a leak somewhere in the system.

Yes the master cylinder was bench bleed before installing,I'm thinking my new proportion valve needs the special tool when I bleed the system. very little fluid come out when I do the front brakes, back one's flow very hard over the rear differential
