my dash does not work (gauges, speedometer seta belts etc is it my ecu?

Check your fuses, harnesses, and maybe your relays. If you ecu died more then just that would not work(your car would not start or run)

Could be the dash cluster itself/printed circuit.

I took the ecu off and it did not run, when I reconnected it it started right up.Dash cluster? The entire dash need to come out?Thank you both for the input!

most likely instrument cluster itself. Dont have to remove whole dash, just the front trim pieces

check all your fuse boxes too ... There's one under the steering console and one under the hood
