Audi TT no power in drivers door

Asked by Jenny J Jan 23, 2020 at 03:54 AM about the 2011 Audi TT 2.0T quattro S-Line Roadster AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There’s no power in my drivers door (window
won’t go down, petrol cap won’t open & the
door won’t lock)  I had a diagnostic test done
but it wouldn’t connect to the module, he said
the that control module had gone and that’s
what was causing my issues ...... but spoke to
someone else and they reckon it’s the wiring
in the door harness that’s probably gone and
not the control module..... anyone got any
knowledge of which one it could be that’s
causing my issues as they is a huge price
difference between them both
Thank you

it is the Comfort control Module, but mine got wet and is no repairable. I can't find one either for my 2001 TT with only 51,000 miles on it. The CCM control the door locks, gas cap opener, inside light, trunk opener and alarm. I want to know if I take the CCM out, will it still run bc mine will not start now.

The car still should function without the comfort control module, but you'll have window issues. The 8n7******* modules are hard to come buy and if you can find one they are expensive. I came across a post that a certain 8n8******** module was quickly tested and most functions appeared to be working except for the wireless entry and if you had an automatic top. It would not function. The other important thing to mention is you need to have the vagcom set up. Which allows you to hook your laptop up to the vehicle and set and change various settings on the vehicle. If you do any diy work on this vehicle its a must have kind of thing. I have it, but have only scratched the surface with it, and I find it hard to understand, but I havent really played with it all much. In any event I ordered the ccm I mentioned above and should receive it in about a week. It will be nice if it works out, especially because of the price. It was $49.95 on eBay. I will post back with my results. So cross your fingers!!!
