Question type: Maintenance & Repair

it runs fine in the morning when the temp is in the 80s to low 90s but in the afternoon, with air temps between 105 and 115 it overheats.  i changed out the trans fluid but i am still having problems

505

I had the same problem my friend. I also changed out the trans fluid but that did not help. Unfortunetly it was my head gasket that needed replacing. I have a 2000 civic and I had the gasket replaced at 170,000k. This did the job and I haven't had any problems 22,000k later. This is pricey, it cost around $1450 for me. Good luck!
