Flashing check engine light

It started this morning when trying to go home
flashing on and off then just a steady check engine
light.  Had trouble accelerate made it home and
waited til I had to come to work.  Started fine then
it do it again

I found on my 2006 that I had a cracked/manifold gasket, you cannot see it, as I ran the car at idle, I sprayed carb cleaner around it, and the motor would go up in rpms, so I replaced the intake gasket as well as the valve cover gasket. No more problems again.
