I have a 2009 Hyundai Accent, 5 speed. About every 1500-2000 miles there's little oil left in it. It's not leaking and doesn't seem to be burning it. mpg is 32-34, pick up is good. while driving it seems to mis-fire sometimes. It has 117k on it so I'm wondering if it could be worn piston rings. Any insight would be nice. I guess doing a comp. test could help.

@Don - Any update? What did you fix? I might have almost the same problem. It's not leaking and haven't seen any smoke (so assuming it's not burning, or burning very slowly). Some youtubers recommended to change the PCV valve. Curious what fixed your problem ?

I had the same problem from around 60k on my 2016 I think it’s just Hyundai as every owner claims the same. I just keep oil in the trunk and check it every few days, have gotten to 206655 that way with no engine issues besides having to change coils.
