Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 2000 zx2 escort, i just changed the oil and it was fine, then i did the
seafoam tranny thing and it was fine, but then i seafoamed the motor and then
sprayed some carb and choke down the throttle body and then its like its
misfiring or an injector is clogged right shut. so now it shakes like all hell,
sounds like a lawn mower, and is really under powered. whats going on?

You may just have a bad spark plug,by using the seafoam and spraying cleaner through it may have released carbon which may have fouled the spark plugs.

Yes ,understand that, but now may be fouled due to carbon from intake and fuel system cleaning you did.

how would one go about cleaning the plugs? or just buy new ones?

I would suggest pulling them first and inspecting them to see if this is the issue before buying new ones, and you can clean them with light sand paper and carb cleaner, but make sure you reset the gap in the plug to factory setting before replacing them.
