Possibly failed ignition switch. The electronic part of the ignition. Common problem in Honda. When it shuts off do the dashlights go on and off. The switch attached to back of lock cylinder. You will have to remove covers from steering column to access

So, we went to the junkyard and got a used throttle body. Changed the old one out and put the used one in. The car started and stay running it has been running since yesterday evening with no problems, so we're assuming that was the problem. The trottle body has fusses in it and must had went bad. Great car to have just needs taking care of.

Throttle position sensor. If it's still functional just off, it won't throw a code. Dealt with this on my Scion TC, a 07 Hyundai Santa Fe, an 81 dodge challenger (Mitsubishi motor), a 88 Dodge Colt (Mitsubishi motor), and a 02 Accord. All the vehicles had between 200,000 and 300,000 miles. TPS fixed the same problem in all. The Scion problem started after installing an intake and exhaust system. The Scion wouldn't idle but drove fine. No power loss. All the other vehicles wouldn't stay running beyond a few seconds. The TPS is integrated into the throttle body in some of the newer cars. Either way, it wasn't expensive and worked great in all of them.
