My. civic 2000 ex have lite on code 420 what do i need to fix problem

From the hondacivicforum.org - "This code generally means that the catalytic converter is toast. Any other CEL codes? Is the engine misfiring?" Buy the cat wholesale online and not at the dealer (Savings $500) and then take the part to a non dealer Honda shop - 90 per hour versus 120 per hour. If you have rust under the car get the heat shields and bolts as well.
P0 420 is the code for catalytic converter... just swap it out
