Can silicone be used on a new fuse when replacing , to improve connectivity.

Silicon is an insulator, it does not improve electrical contact, dielecteic grease is good to use on electrical connections bc even tho it doesnt help current flow it takes up air gap space around points of contact to help keep moisture out, its also good on spark plug boots to help them come off easier
