Antifreeze Leak

Asked by Jerseygirl2 Mar 07, 2016 at 03:37 PM about the 2001 Ford Taurus SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a leak under my car and I do see it on the ground.  Also when I drive the thermostat goes from where the C is to the middle then back down again. When I drive it stays closer to the C but when I am idling it goes to half way. What to do!

Well if you keep driving it without getting it fixed, your gonna fry the motor. If you do not want to fry the motor, do not be driving it until it is fixed. You have a coolant leak and without coolant the motor will run hot & just not run no more.
