Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The hose appeared to run from under the wheel well however before i pull off
anything I hoped someone knows how the hose runs so I pull out the right
thing first.  Thank you for your knowledge and most important "willingness to

Do you have to replace it entirely? If you can see where it is chewed or cut, just use a slightly larger diameter rubber hose to splice it back together (by sliding the damaged ends into the splice section). If you can't get to the damaged area, replace the entire length of it with a new hose and don't worry about using the same exact routing as the old hose, as long as it is secured in place with ties so it isn't flopping around you'll be fine. (you can zip tie it off to other cables or hoses

I paid $40,000 for my 16 RAV4 limited. Why can’t they put a screen over the air intake valve to prevent mice problems? Not pleased with their solution to hit the inside circulation button before I turn y vehicle off each time. I should NOT have to put mothballs or dryer sheets in my vehicle to keep rodents out. Not impressed with Toyota.

I have the same problem. This is the 2nd time it’s happened. First time it cost me $130! This is crazy!
