What is the home screen supposed to be on my 2016 CR-V?

Asked by Khromedome Jun 29, 2017 at 11:11 AM about the 2016 Honda CR-V EX AWD

Question type: General

The display on the original screen was the home screen, and that only makes sense to me. It began to black out, so Honda replaced the display screen. Now when you turn on the car instead of going to the home screen, it goes to the audio screen. Honda tells me that it is supposed to be that way, but I don't believe them. Does anyone else have a 2016 CR-V that can tell me what their "home screen" is?  Also, the clock regularly goes back exactly 4 hours. I am constantly resetting it. Anyone else have that problem?

If you go to your settings on your home screen you can set you "default home screen" to whatever you want. It goes to that when it starts up. I have a 2015 civic which uses that same entertainment system. Hope this helps.

Our home screen goes completely black on our honda crv 2017 touring model. Very frightening when you are driving on the la freeway system. They have replaced the screen, and repaired something else, but that didn't solve it. They say they are aware of the problem and working on it, but its been a year and they haven't done anything.
