What’s wrong with my baby?

Asked by NaTori Jun 11, 2020 at 06:34 AM about the 2004 Honda Accord LX

Question type: General

So, i have a 2004 Honda Accord 4cylinder.

i started my car and drive about two blocks before
it seemed to be “dragging”. I pulled over to turn the
car off and back on and it did, but it was a heavy
dragged. I was kinda parked in the street, so i
started to reverse into a spot, but my brake got
hard and i could barely switch gears. I would have
to try to crank my engine to get it to even go into
neutral to further move it. When i recently changed
my breaks, because it was off for about 2wks i had
a problem starting it. I was told then that it could be
an issue with my fuel pump because i had to gas it
a bit to get it started as i cracked it. But it was just
that one time. Tried that when the vehicle stopped
and it didn’t really help much. An older man heard
me trying and mention that it was something in
regards to my fuel (referencing to me possibly
getting bad gas) ..does any of this sound familiar ?
Has anyone ever had anything put into there tank?
I’m at a total lost right now ..☹️

You can test the fuel pressure if you suspect it is a fuel issue. When was the fuel filter changed last? Is the Check engine light on?

My cylinders are misfiring, all 4 i got to another portable diagnostic tool. And we thought it was one, but it turned out it’s all 4. But thank you!!
