What kind of oil do I use in my 2016 ford focus

Likely it is 5w20. I would recommend Motorcraft Synthetic Blend oil changed by you or the dealership. I do NOT use the "quick lube" places. Do some reading in your owner's manual as all this information is in there.

I like Mobile 1 Full Synthetic. Manual that came wit it tells you. May say it on the sticker under hood, or door panel, other wise just ask at the auto parts store to look it up for you when you get the oil & filter, Its important to change the filter too Cause its so new it could have junk it from assembly.

I would use 5W-30 in your old Focus. Chances are the oil filler cap says what oil Ford recommends.
