2016 Ford Explorer AWD problem

Asked by explorermailman Feb 20, 2020 at 11:45 AM about the 2016 Ford Explorer XLT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2016 ford Explorer is terrible in snow, even in the "snow" mode of AWD.  This is my 4th winter with this car and NEVER has it been a problem.  Tires are brand new, less than 100 miles, no improvement. On a level road, small snow cover, the car seems to pull or sway in random directions, almost as if the wheels of out of synch and going on odd directions.  What could this be?

Probably the wrong type of tires. What do you have?

Mine is fine and I never even at highway speeds and in snow storms. .I believe it is the tires or driving to aggressively.
