Car acts like it starving for gas or air

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Changed water pump, pullys for belt, and the
belt, fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel pump
module, changed mass air flow sensor,
changed throttle body, changed o2 sensors
twice with new sensors, new cat converter,
car ran great for 20 miles car ran great then
started running ruff again, then the check
engine light came on again, cleared codes,
drove car, still running ruff but not stalling
like it was before, last time car would stall
like it was starving for gas or air did all work
above now it won't stall but runs ruff and
check engine light comes on again and
throwing p1000 code at wits end and
pockets are empty after spending about
$2500 need to fix I'm living in car please
help me !!!!

Try performing a throttle body/ idle relearn. I believe the p1000 is just saying that the car has not completed its drive cycle and is not in full ready state. I good code reader or an app like Torque pro can tell you which specific system is tripping it.

I'm not really mechanically inclined to that type of work I can work on a car somewhat but I don't understand what your saying...

I found how to do the relearn and it seemed to do the trick car is purring like a kitten but I'm gonna drive it a couple of hours today and 2 days and see what happens... keeping my fingers crossed it stays running right !!! Thank you for all your help you saved me about $200 to find this information out !!!

I changed the fuel filter $15, fuel pump $60, fuel pump modulator $100, checked the ground wire for that cost free with a piece of sand paper to sand where wire connected to get a good ground connection, pcv valve $ 2, and hoses $20, throttle body $20 (from junkyard off a 2001 focus that had rear end damage), mass air flow sensor $60, both o2 sensors $70 a piece, cadallaic converter $390, and checked all vacuum hoses for leaks free, EGR valve $20, and somewhere in there I fixed the problem, I think and hope ?? Keeping my fingers crossed the check engine light don't come back on, and now the other day my passenger side CV axle broke loose cost me $90 for new one, now my car will run then die out and battery acting like it's dead, jump starts then dies from just sitting turned off, needs to be jump started again to start, new battery in it, now I'm leaning towards a new alternator $160 rebuilt 1 yr warranty .... FML !!!! Grrrr !!!! Time for the junkyard I'm thinking !!! Please help me figure this one out if you can !!??
Will the car stay running if you hold the gas pedal down a bit and keep the RPM at 1,500 or so?
