Truck will not start

Asked by Itsy2018 Mar 28, 2018 at 09:50 PM about the 2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch SuperCrew 4WD

Question type: General

2015 Ford F-150 4WD - will not start. It still had 7 miles
left in gas. It started gd the first try but then it died after 1
minute. It won’t start anymore. My husband tried to add 2
more gallons of gas but it still won’t start. We also
checked fuse #27, like someone suggested here but the
fuse looked ok not burnt at all. What else could be wrong
with it?

Check engine light on? When fuel gets so low in the tank, sediments can clog the fuel pump filter or the in-line fuel filter. When you turn the key to the on position, do you hear the fuel pump working? Check the fuel pump relay and fuse located in the engine compartment fuse box. You can also use a fuel pressure gauge to check if the pump is working at full capacity.

If that don’t work check the harness that powers the fuel pump mine was frade I fixed it and it fixed the problem check all ur wires plugs ignition coil thrill tow body and the snots hooked to t
