Mine blinks regardless of being armed or not. Should I have it checked?

checked with Hyundai dealer service dept. and they said it is the security system blinks either armed or not. also said there is no mention of it in the manual.

I'm guessing an alarm goes off if someone is trying to steal your car or enter illegally.

My 2014 Tucson does not have an alarm system. I think it is just eye candy and may discourage a potential thief if they see it blinking.

Weird... On page 4|71 of my manual it said that the red blinking light on the dash is in fact a sensor for the heating and cooling system. ‍♂️
