I have a 2011 KIA Optima EX, with the exact same problem. Luckily, the sun visors will cover most of the two up front lights at night, but back is lit, till I stop, and leave, 10 mins will turn off. It might be firmware for the car operations. It was real cold out, when it first happened. Help! This is a major issue! Someone must know, help!

I have a 2013 Kia Optima lx and am having the same problem. I was sitting in the car with is running, but stopped. I had one of the front overhead lights on and suddenly the other side turned on and now neither will turn off. I took the bulbs out so I can drive at night. When it happened, the steering also went out. The steering wheel spun freely in both directions. I changed the master fuse and that seems to have fixed the steering. But the lights are still stuck on. Help!
