Asked by Tiffani Aug 28, 2019 at 08:59 PM about the 2015 Chevrolet Malibu 1LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Chevy Malibu died on me at a stoplight when it
was in Auto Stop. I took it to get tested battery
tested good and alternator tested voltage
regulator. Tested bad. So I replaced the alternator.
However I'm still having the same problem took it
to get tested again and it came back with the same
reading. I'm at a loss and don't know what to do.

If this is the original battery it is due for replacement. Are they load testing the battery or just checking the battery voltage?
