06 chevy tahoe oil pressure sound

Hello i have a 06 tahoe
5.3 bought it about a
year ago right before i
did first oil change i
noticed the pressure
went from 40 to 60 i did
research started wiging
out did oil change and
pressure went up to 80 i
asked a friend they said
thats ok it suppose to be
like that i didnt believe
them because i read it
was to be at 40 if above
or below theres an issue.
Well after a month it
reads no pressure dings
go off and no pressure
theres oil there i get 9
miles to the gallon my
engine runs hot i dnt
have any leaks i did
replace water pump
when i first bought it and
i did work myself first
time lol after looking into
it i thought it to be just a
sensor which is a pain to
get to i checked wiring i
dnt know where the
sending.unit people talk
about is lol but here
recently its been a
couole months no
pressure and here
recently the oil pressure
with go all the way to 80
stay for a few mins then i
hear a sound that
sounds like those air ride
big rigs u know that air
sound and i loose
pressure again then i
hear the noise and i have
pressure there is nothing
that makes or doesnt
make this happen its
completely random. Any
insight guy and girls? Not
sure if it is ls lt but i do
have 4wheel drive

If you don’t know if your truck is 4 wheel drive or not , oil pressure is probably not your only problem.
