99gmc savana conversion van idles high and runs ruff

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The original motor was replaced. Then the computer,
distributor cap, oil change, and tune up. Now that it finally
cranks and starts, it idles high and runs rough. The motor
came from a 1997 chevy express in which the
transmission went out. Please help!!

clean the throttle plate, the idle air valve needs cleaned or replaced, also run sea foam [auto parts] threw the tank, some in oil also , removes gum deposits
