Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had this truck for 2 weeks and 3 times now it wouldn't start, no codes show
up no check engine light on, twice I put gas in it and it started right away, today
I had to put gas in it and engine starter spray and it started what could my
problem be.  It always says i have gas tho ., could it be the fuel pump.

Yes it could be the fuel pump. Check fuel pressure to verify, it should be 56 to 63 lbs. at the Schrader valve.

Well,..it is pretty easy but if it is low, your going to need the fuel pump changed anyway, which means the gas tank would have to be dropped down. So its quite a job. But you can rent a fuel pressure gauge from an auto parts store, have them have it set up for a Schrader Valve connection, then all it is, is to pull up on the coupling on the fuel pressure gauge and slide it onto the Schrader Valve. Then you just turn the key to the on position to turn on the fuel pump, fuel pressure will build up on the gauge and so just read where it is at. Turn the key off and let it sit for 3 minutes with the pressure built up and watch the gauge. Fuel pressure should not drop more than 5 lbs. If it does then it is an indication of leaking fuel injectors.
