I'm.having car trouble

I have a GMC envoy 2002 and the reduce engine
power light came on .. What does that mean the
truck is running good but then I turn it off let it sit
for a minute then it came off

Engine power reduced can have alot of reasons for coming on... something is out of range or not working properly and thr computer has limited engine power... u need to scan it and find any codes

Clean your throttle body for starters. Unhook fuses #10 and #28 before you remove the throttle body to clean it.
