After a new motor

After getting a new motor, 2 weeks
later my ford 150 has a loud clacking
sound???

What was the source of the motor? I assume you have a warranty for that new motor?

No, 2 weeks, they had to put the oil back in it and run it through the engine. They didn’t tell me to and the oil light didn’t come on???

I don’t know about engines, but you’d think they would tell you to check the oil or tell you to bring it back by to see how it checks out! If they didn’t put oil in it, then I bet that sound was a blown rod. And yes I have a warranty 2 years!

Actually our Ford reman "6006" engine assemblies come with oil, oil filter and spark plugs. Take it back to where the engine was installed.
