transmission unresponsive

my transmission seems to get stuck in gear and doesn't shift out of second gear,RPM is
high

Sounds like a bad solenoid to me, but I would check the transmission fluid level first. Check the transmission fluid while the engine is running, in park. If low, add 1/4 of a quart at a time, cycle through the gears, pausing for 10-30 seconds per gear, then check again. If the transmission fluid is not low, I would suggest taking it to a qualified shop in your area.
