Theft Deterrent System

GuruX, I am having the same problem intermittently with my 2013 xts. Did you ever figure out what is going on with your car?

I have 2013 Cadillac XTS replace the battery I jump the car every morning how can I reset theft system please I need a help

No answers after all this time

my 2013 will not crank. Maybe the starter relay.

I have 2019 XT5 Cadillac that just stop at the red light now will not start back up battery is new I don’t know what wrong need help

KNOWN FACT!! Your key fob can cause this problem.. 1st Thing to do is replace the fob battery or get a new key fob.. Replacing the key fob may require you to program that new key to the car.. and your car will start working fine.. If not fixed!! Take one cable off for 60 seconds.. that will reset your theft system the light will go off.. your battery saver will active.. you now that two options Get a boost or wait until your battery recharge by itself.. once over 10 volts it will start without a jump.. If u start and the theft system come back on.. remove the cable for 2 min and wait to someone boost your battery!! Three known problem that cause this is the car battery, the key fob battery, and the need of a new Key fobs.. Always start with the cheapest first These three things will have you thinking it’s electrical problems!! SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF MONEY Auto zone for key fob battery or car battery Lock smith or pop a lock for new key fob and programming

Take off 1cable 60 seconds put key fob in center console in the house and start

What cable do you take off to reset?
