No,it won,t work. Why?because you have to buy the kind of part p71that comes, with your crown Victoria. All cars transmissions comes in a different color and sizes ,depending on what kind of make, and model of your car is. Otherwise, your vechile may not work for a dull year. I am a good driver myself. I know about cars, in different forms of theories that may comes with the cars.Eurekajames,eurekal.james quotes you to be careful what you do with your cars or other peoples cars. I own about 50 of the p-71s If you use the drive shaft from the p-71 along with the trans you will be fine. They swap either way as long as both are used

I have a 2009 p71 that the trans went out. I bought a 2010 trans before I pulled the old one out. After I got the old one out, it's from a 2007 cv. Everything bolted up fine except the plug that goes into the trans for the solenoid. Are they different? Did someone swap the harness in my car to make the 2007 work or what? Are 2009 and up trans harnesses different?

If the plugs are different you will need the harness off the car the trans was out of.

So 2005 to 2008 Crown Vics Transmissions as long as it's the interceptor will match up but a 2008 in a 2009 don't match up
