2014 Ford Escape can't lock doors

Google "how to reset door locks" for your make and model, or refer to your owner's manual. Modern cars have a procedure that typically involves opening/shutting the door and pressing the lock button a number of times to reset to factory condition. According to the web site "ItStillRuns.com" the procedure is: Step 1. Enter the Escape and shut the door. Switch on the ignition. Press the door unlock button three times, then turn the ignition off. Step 2. Press the unlock button an additional three times, then switch on the ignition. Listing for the horn to chirp indicating you've entered programming mode. To change the autolock feature, press the unlock button then the lock button and listen for the horn to chirp. You'll hear a single chirp if autolock is disabled, or two chirps if autolock is enabled. To change the autounlock feature, press the lock button, then the unlock button. You'll hear one chirp if it is disabled or two chirps if it is enabled. Switch off the ignition to finish programming. Again this procedure should be in your manual.

I'll keep this in mind, but everything is dead and unresponsive. Nothing happens when you push any of the lock/unlock buttons. No lights come on when you enter the car l, so I wouldn't even be able to get into that mode.

In that case check all of your fuses and relays.
