2003 taurus no crank, no start

Asked by Bill Aug 06, 2019 at 11:42 AM about the 2003 Ford Taurus SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Turned my car off ,got up next morning
and car wouldn't turn over. Battery is
good, tested starter, nss, starter relay,
starter solenoid,  and ignition plus wiring.
The only thing I found was on the control
side of relay the wire that goes to the pcm
is not grounding to complete the starting
circuit. If I run a jumper ground in it's
place I can get it to start cranking but
won't start and run. I'm at the end of my
rope with this problem,  please help.

Battery has a full charge and connections all good? Did you try using a different key? So you tried cranking the starter motor with the key on and it won't start and run? Have you thought about your security system? The security lamp on the dash, does it stay on? Usually, when you turn the key on, that lamp comes on for a second or two then goes out. If the lamp goes hot, hopefully the security system is ok? The security system will disable starter among other systems. I did see some trouble codes for your security system, most were B1 type codes, manufacturer specific codes. Most of my info says you need a scanner that can communicate with that system. Except for what I've posted, I won't be able to help. good luck

Yes battery is charged and all connections are good. I only have one key for the car, it has been working for two years now. My theft light on the dash is flashing fast and does not stop when trying to start car. I've tried to reset it but unsuccessful. The engine light is not on will a code scanner pick up any codes when light is off?
