How hard would it be to put an 3.5 v6 out of an 03 infinti into an 85 s10 truck?

Extremely difficult. The problem is there is a large amount of work required when you replace a different size engine in a vehicle. Motor mounts, exhaust system, transmission, emissions, gauges, wiring, etc. All of this needs to be figured out. If you are paying a garage to figure all this out, it will be a very expensive endeavor. Now think about everything metric for the Infiniti and standard for the truck. In this case all the parts will need to be custom built. Might work if you have $20,000 - $40,000.
