Location of the brain box on a 1987 ford f150 with a 302

The Ignition Control Module would be on the fender wall, more than likely on the drivers side. It is an aluminum square box with two plugins.

I have a 1989 Ford f150. I'm not getting any power to the sparkplug. I spliced into the ignition coil and ran a wire from the ignition wire to the positive battery cable. But the wire hit the metal bumper. I'm not getting any power from my coil. I put a ignition module and a coil on it and still no fire to the plugs
