The battery drains within 2/3 days

Have you got a tracking device in this vehicle as a Tracking device draws curren and will run the battery down quickly. What is the condition of the battery ?

My 2016 Fiesta has battery problems. It is the original battery and hasn’t been holding a charge for longer than a day. The negative post has started corroding and I can’t just replace the clamp as the connector is welded to the clamp. I have read that corrosion on the negative posts will cause the car to not start, give false systems reports. My engine light comes on every couple of weeks but according to the systems check, everything is normal. I used to get offended when I would hear jokes about Ford vehicles because I have owned a couple of them and drove them until they gave out. But battery problems, being stranded somewhere weekly , having to purchase special parts from the dealership is just outrageous when I’m on a set income. I only started having problems recently and I took It to the lot where I bought it(used). And only because I still had 100 miles left on my warranty. And I feel like because they knew it and was going to have to do free labor, they would put me off, saying mechanic was out til tomorrow and I would have to come back. I live 40 miles away round trip, and so by the time the mechanic came back(3 days later) my warranty ran out. But I’m cussing under my breath because and wishing I never bought the car,and the part I need installed after I get another battery is going to take a bit of a chunk out of my wallet. I’m hoping replacing the battery and new negative posts, it will alleviate a lot of the supposed errors that I keep getting. It’s not quite 4 years old and I am confused as to why it’s already doing that. I’ve also had to purchase a portable battery charger. I shouldn’t have let it charge for 20 minutes;should start right up after about 1 minute and then ldle long enough to put some power in the alternator. And since when do you still have batteries that need water in the cells? There is literally no lines or a clear view to see how much water it’s holding . the only reason why I bought it in the first place was low mileage and excellent gas mileage. But what’s the point in bragging about the gas mileage when it is always dead.

This looks like you have a Battery problem. Most vehicles over the COVID lock down were not started for some time and this would cause the battery at this age to sulphate up. This causes the battery life to shorten. I would have the battery tested. Most new batteries are sealed.
