why would the blinker not blink on a 1984 chrysler labaron if both lights and fuse are good

the bigger round one on the fuse panel ? I pulled it out and the right side still worked but, the emergency flashers stopped working and the left still would not blink

If one side works and the other does not then I would check for positive and negative current in the bulbs sockets of the side that's not working.
