2013 Camry LE - Lost control of steering, every single light on the dash lit up

Asked by Pixie Aug 03, 2018 at 10:26 AM about the 2013 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So, Around 6am this morning I was making my commute to work, I rounded
a corner and my car started beeping, ( I wasn't Mario Andretti, I promise.)
So, she beeped and beeped and then every single light possible known to
Toyota comes across my dashboard, and I lose the ability to turn the steering
wheel. Engine still running, I didn't stall out and brakes seemed to be
working.
Still none the less, We made a rural pit stop. Gracefully. -.-
I turned the car off, and then back on, and the lights all went off except for
the check engine light, and the traction light. I was able to pull my car a few
feet out of the ditch and the same thing as before happened.
Never had so much of a slight issue with the car, and has been mechanic
maintained.Had a flat tire yesterday for the first time ever, replaced. No
issues.
Never an accident except for a scratch, nothing has ever given an issue
ever.
So that's my cause of concern, no warning signs either to even remotely
prepare for this one.

any insight would be fantastic.
