1986 Ford Bronco gearshifter

So I just recently bought a 1986 Ford Bronco from a guy on Facebook, it's
nothing fancy. After I drove it home it sat for a little bit. I went to go drive it but
the gear shifter won't move out of park, however I can push it back and fourth.
Any suggestions on what to do? It is an automatic btw
