i have a 1995 dodge dakota and it is making a loud grinding/wining soud i was wondering about possible solutions

Can you please provide more details? Where exactly is the noise coming from? When does it happen? When braking? At all times?

sounds like a bad wheel bairing or brakes but you need to list more info on when it happens and where the sound comes from

Need more info, but if it's a hum, it could be a bad pinion gear in your rear diff. Saw it happen on an Envoy once.
