What is the name of the depicted module 1986 300ZX location spare tire sidewall

Asked by Joseph Jul 26, 2017 at 11:56 AM about the 1986 Nissan 300ZX 2 Dr 2+2

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1986 300ZX that intermittently enters a "limp" mode limiting RPMs
to just under 3000. In the fault mode, the aural advisory system "Bitchin
Betty" stops functioning, and the transmission remains locked in overdrive
(will not change to normal). Recently, a shop unplugged the depicted module
and replugged temporarily restoring all normal functions. But now the failure
has re-occurred and I am considering replacing the module. Off the Model Z-
31 parts depiction it looks like part 25225. Based on the pictures and
location, what is this module named or its part number?

The module in the upper left hand side of the photo is the compass control module.

It does not sound like a compass control module would be the cause of the referenced limp mode and the other referenced anamolies. Any idea which module would be the root cause?
