how to troubleshoot digital instuments 300zx

I own a Nissan300zx w digital display display,and doesn't work full time,and won't go into test mode,power supply
has been replaced 6 Times.same thing.bad Speedo head?

You could have a bad connector or broken etch on your digital display circuit board. With the display working (on) lightly push on the back of the display circuit board in several places (if you can reach it) & watch the display for changes. CAUTION: don't push hard. This could cause the display to permanently turn off.
