Trunk release not working

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My trunk release will not work from the key bob. I found several broken wires
in the harness and repaired them but trunk still won't open. I have tried
opening and closing the top but no luck with that. Can you tell me what I might
try next. Thanks

Might be that you didn't fix everything, or that the trip device is defective, or the fob is bad. Have a mechanic review this.
